The secondary specimen bag consists of a long cylindrical tube and a polyurethane bag. The disposable specimen container is provided aseptically in a dispensing tube to minimise spillage and intraoperative contamination by isolating and containing the specimen for insertion through a standard 5 mm, 10 mm, 11 mm or 12 mm trocar needle cannula for specimen retrieval from the body cavity.
Our specimen retrieval bags are available in a range of sizes to cover specimen retrieval in a variety of laparoscopic procedures, from the 5 mm specimen retrieval bag deployed through a 5 mm port to the extra large bag deployed through a 15 mm port, offering both removable and non-removable options, and also available with memory lines depending on user preference and application.
